Chavez Reissue Due on Matador

Chavez fans will be able to "repeat the ending," and, well, the beginning, and the middle of the NYC quartet's career when Matador puts out an extensive reissue of everything the band ever recorded on October 10. Titled Better Days Will Haunt You, the reissue will also include unreleased tracks and an unseen DVD documentary of the band's 1995 tour with Guided by Voices.

The first disc culls its fourteen tracks from a variety of sources: Chavez's first single, the band's 1995 debut release Gone Glimmering, the 1995 Pentagram Ring CD/EP, and the 1996 Schoolhouse Rock! Rocks compilation (see: their psychedelic spoken-word take on "Little 12 Toes"). Meanwhile, the second disc covers 1996's Ride the Fader, a track from the What's Up Matador comp, as well as a previously unreleased studio track, "White Jeans". The DVD contains two music videos, plus the aforementioned documentary, Boys Making Music ...Music Making Men. Tracklist:
